Skip-J Range is a private pistol and rifle club (Anderson Practical Pistol Club) that also has IDPA and Tactical Rifle matches that are open to the public and members of those organizations.

Members have the combination to the gate lock and are free to use the range from 9:30am to dark Monday through Saturday and 1:30pm to dark on Sunday.

The cost of an individual membership is $150 per year with no initiation fees. Husband/wife memberships are $175 per year. Club/Range Members must be 21 or more years old.

The range consists of one 100 meter rifle bay, one 50 meter rifle/pistol bay, one 60×100 ft. pistol bay and seven 35×100 ft. pistol bays. All 10 bays have dirt berms down both sides along with the impact berm.

Occasionaly the range is closed for a major weekend match such as the State and National Championship matches for IDPA and Law Enforcement only matches such as the NRA-TPC match and the Thin-Blue Line match.

Conceal Carry Permit Classes are available for South Carolina residents. If interested contact Terry Candler (940-6276). Anyone wishing to join the range must meet with Jerry James (617-2759) at the range for range saftey orientation before becoming an active member.
